Certified Organic:

We have been certified organic since 2002, and  this is our fourth year offering CSA shares. We offer a 3/4 bushel
box of over 70 varieties of vegetables and herbs.  Our season starts mid-June and goes to mid-October.
Gorgeous leaf lettuces and salad mixes are one of our specialties.   We include many heirloom varieties.  See
'What we grow' for a detail list of what you can expect this season

Our pick-up sites are Tuesday afternoons at the farm, and Thursday evenings a various sites in the western
suburbs and South Minneapolis. Our farm is located about 18 miles west of 494 just off Hwy. 55.

As a first-time member, you will receive the cookbook
"From Asparagus to Zucchini" to help with using all your
vegetables as well as providing storage tips and nutrient content.

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership
between a farm and a local community of supporters,
providing a direct link between the production and
consumption of food.

CSA members cover the farm’s operating costs by
purchasing a share of the season’s harvest.  This provides
members with a healthy supply of locally grown, seasonal
fresh produce throughout the growing season.

In return, the farm receives more insurance against risks
of bad weather or a drop in market prices
