The Farm
Cramer Organics, started in 2004, is a small 10 acre
farm located just west of the town of Rockford, and 30
miles due west of Minneapolis.
For 2010 will be expanding our CSA offering as well as
providing fresh produce to the New Coop Harvest Moon
in Long Lake
Now in our 7th year, we are looking forward to providing
you the very best of what we grow
Family
Both our daughters have worked on organic farms in
Pennsylvania, Colorado, Washington State, and Minnesota.
Last Fall, our daughter Katie and her husband Madrone have
moved to Minneapolis from Washington state, and we are
excited that Katie will be joining our operation in 2010 as our
field manager.
Son Rob & son-in-law Madrone's collective experience in the
construction industry has been invaluable on many project
including building our greenhouse.
Juan Esteban was a full time farm hand in 2008, and Shelley is
busy producing workers with our new Granddaughter Hannah
born August 2009.
Growing up on a farm in western Minnesota, "Farmer-in-Chief"
Joey knows what it is to work hard, and provides the energy to
"make it happen".
And of course the best sign of all is that our two youngest
workers, ever eager to lend a hand, always have dirt under their
fingernails!!
